Offshore Wind Power

The network design for offshore wind farms must address challenges including high wind speeds, elevated humidity, saline-alkaline conditions, long transmission distances, and demanding bandwidth requirements. Inadequate equipment selection or incomplete solutions may result in high operational costs and network instability. BodaCOM has developed a scientifically sound, stable, and flexible network transmission design for offshore wind farms, incorporating multiple networking approaches. This solution not only accommodates the natural environmental conditions but also supports the following connectivity methods:

1. The maintenance vessel is networked with the on-site wind turbines, land dispatch center, and wind farm dispatch center.

2. Networking of on-site fan rooms;

3. The fan's internal maintenance personnel are networked with the ship and the remote control room.

4. The on-site maintenance video is transmitted to both the wind farm control room and the land control room.

5. Network integration of wind farm dispatching center, land dispatching center, maintenance personnel around wind turbines, and internal maintenance personnel of wind turbines.

The solution utilizes the BodaCOM 4131 EF2 WiFi bridge system wireless products from Jinan BodaXun, accommodating multiple networking configurations. It enables instant on-site access without manual configuration, while implementing a hierarchical network model to ensure data security by managing access permissions for different users.
