Project Background
As water-management systems become more digital, reservoirs, rivers and canals require timely monitoring to support flood prevention and emergency response. The project aimed to centralize data from dispersed reservoir sites, improve operational awareness and reduce the cost of manual inspections.
Bodaxun Solution
Six reservoir monitoring locations were connected through individual point-to-point links. A radio was installed at each monitoring site and paired with a unit on a nearby mobile communications tower. From the tower, the data travels over the operator's dedicated line to the municipal dispatch center.
Project Outcome
The completed system centralizes real-time water-level and site-monitoring information for flood-control and infrastructure management. The network combines high bandwidth, interference resistance and straightforward maintenance, while its modular design makes it possible to add monitoring points as requirements grow.
